Bangladesh Cricket Board has named Tamim Iqbal as the new skipper for One-day (ODI) format on Monday.
Tamim has been named as the new captain in place of Mashrafe Mortaza for the ODIs.
Tamim has previously led the team in the format last year against Sri Lanka in the third match series. The team lost all three as the captaincy didn’t work.
However, the new journey for Tamim will continue against Pakistan when Bangladesh plays one-off ODI after PSL 2020.
