In the 2nd ODI, the Pakistan team failed to perform as they did in the 1st ODI. They weren’t able to stop the South African batsman. As they posted a mountainous target of 342. The skipper led the team with 92 runs followed by Quinton De Kock’s 80 and Rassie van der Dussen 60. On the bowling side, an excellent spell by Anrich Nortje limited the Pakistan team to achieve the given target. Anrich Nortje doing great from the bowling end as in the 1st ODI he took 4 wickets and gave 51 runs in his spell. In the 2nd ODI, he took 3 wickets and gave 61 runs in his spell. Andile Phelukwayo took 2 wickets in both matches followed by Kagiso Rabada’s wicket in both ODI’s.
On the other hand, Pakistan hasn’t performed as expected, only Fakhar Zaman played a record-breaking inning of 193 on just 155 balls.
