Pakistan Cricket team will shortly be going on the tour to New Zealand. This tour includes a test series of two tests and three T20s. On the 18th of December 2020, Pakistan will face New Zealand in the first T20 of the three T20s series.
For this tour of Pakistan to New Zealand, the former captain and the current Head Coach Misbah-ul-Haq announced a squad of 35 mens. These 35 mens include some young talent and also some experienced players.

The announced squad contain:
Openers
Abid Ali, Abdullah Shafique, Fakhar Zaman, Imam-ul-Haq, Shan Masood, and Zeeshan Malik.
Middle-Order batsmen
Babar Azam, Azhar Ali, Danish Aziz, Fawad Alam, Haider Ali, Haris Sohail, Hussain Talat, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imran Butt, Khushdil Shah, and Mohammad Hafeez.
Wicket-Keepers
Mohammad Rizwan, Rohail Nazir, and Sarfaraz Ahmed.
Fast Bowlers
Amad Butt, Faheem Ashraf, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Abbas, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Musa, Naseem Shah, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Sohail Khan, and Wahab Riaz.
This 35 mens squad includes emerging talent like Amad Butt, Danish Aziz, Imran Butt, and Rohail Nazir. Hopefully, they will make their National Cricket Debut in this tour of Pakistan to New Zealand.
The Head Coach gave a reason for not picking Asad Shafiq, Muhammad Amir and Shoaib Malik. He said that Asad Shafiq is out of the squad because of a lack of his performance. He also said that he is an experienced player, but Asad Shafiq isn’t performing well. So, he will have to work harder in domestic cricket and regain his form to get back in National Cricket Team.
On Malik and Amir, Misbah said they were excluded as the PCB decided to invest, develop and focus on promising and emerging players that are likely to be available for all formats in Pakistan.
