Today in a tweet, the Multan Sultan management announced that Muhammad Rizwan would be the captain of the Multan Sultan in PSL 6. Muhammad Rizwan nowadays is a top performing wicket-keeper batsman. Who helped the Pakistani National team to win a Test and T20I series against South Africa on their Home Grounds.
Muhammad Rizwan is currently the vice-captain of the National team will lead Multan Sultans in the 6th edition of the PSL (PSL 6). Muhammad Rizwan is performing fabulous as the spot is given to him of his desire. He scored a magnificent score of 197 runs in a 3 match T20I series. He became the 2nd wicket-keeper batsman to score a century in all 3 formats after the New Zealand wicket-keeper batsman Brendon McCullum. Muhammad Rizwan will replace Shan Masood, who was the captain of Multan Sultans in PSL 5.

Multan Sultans owner Ali Tareen in a Press Release said that. “Mohammad Rizwan has shown exemplary leadership qualities with the Pakistan team. As well as with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Domestic tournaments. He is presently one of the very best in the world in his position and we are excited to have him. To lead Multan Sultans for the upcoming season of the PSL. We are grateful to Shan Masood for leading the franchise exceptionally well. In last season and for instilling a winning mentality within the team,”
On the other hand, Muhammad Rizwan also expressed his feelings by saying that. “I look forward to leading the Multan Sultans team for the upcoming season and have understood the innovative approach the franchise applied last season. I am looking forward to playing my part this year. Multan Sultans had a successful PSL 5 and we’ll aspire to go even better. This time around especially with senior Pakistani players. Like Shahid Khan Afridi, Shan Masood and Sohail Tanveer to look up to.”
