Babar Azam and Virat Kohli are often seen being compared on the basis of their stats and shots selection. Pakistan’s Babar, who is at present the number one T20 batsman, occurs in the top 10 batsman rankings of all the formats which have made him the only batsman to achieve the feat. A quite similar selection of shots, cover drives, and straight drives, have upturned both the batsmen.
However, Babar Azam does not as the comparison people do. He thinks that he still has got a lot to achieve.
Notably, Virat made his debut way earlier than Azam, hence, he has been featured in more matches. However, Babar’s t20 stats are better than Kohli.
In an interview with CricBuzz, Babar praising Virat Kohli said that he is the best of players and will become like him achieving the records and winning the matches.

“He is one of the best players. I am far behind. I have a lot to achieve yet. I will try to become a player like him and win matches for Pakistan and create records,” Babar told Cricbuzz.
