The captain of the India Cricket Team, Virat Kohli, thinks that it will be hard to recreate along with a sense of tension and to play the game without the fans.
Kohli considers fans as the main asset of the game that brings joy to cricket. The chants of the spectators in the ground give spirit to cricket. Spectators could have faced the scenario while sitting at home and watching a game on the television where only players played in the ground behind closed doors such as in PSL.
Virat Kohli: matches without fans will be tough
Virat Kohli is eagerly waiting to show off his skills once again with the bat but the Coronavirus pandemic has locked everyone down.
“I honestly don’t know how everyone is going to take that because we all are used to playing in front of so many passionate fans. I know it will be played at a very good intensity but that feeling of the crowd connecting with the players and the tension of the game is very difficult emotions to recreate,” he said.
“Things will still go on, but I doubt that one will feel that magic happening inside because of the atmosphere that was created. We will play sports how it is supposed to be played, but those magical moments will be difficult to come by,” he pointed out.
