Sandeep Lamichhane will wear the Lahore Qalandars jersey for the 2nd time in his Pakistan Super League (PSL) career as a replacement for Rashid Khan. In PSL 2019 he was the leading wicket-taker and as he took 11 wickets with an average of 17.18 in seven games. Lamichhane is available for the entire season since Rashid was called to Afghanistan for a series against Zimbabwe.
Lamichhane was part of the Platinum roster for the PSL 2021 Player Draft held in January but was not sold. Most recently, he played for Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League (BBL) in Australia, although his arrival in the squad was delayed due to a coronavirus contract.
Prior to the BBL, Lamichhane was in the Caribbean Premier League with Jamaica Tallawahs (CPL). He is also the only player in his country to play in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Sandeep Lamichhane is available to Lahore Qalandars (LQ) for the whole PSL 2021 as a replacement of Rashid Khan as he was called back to Afghanistan for series against Zimbabwe.
